Catherine Canning has 20+ years’ experience in the Engineering sector working in a variety of roles; with her engineering qualification, she worked in various engineering roles as a graduate engineer, then as a validation engineer within the pharmaceutical industry. She then moved into documentation management and currently leads the quality function within DPS’s central engineering department with a focus on continuous improvement projects. She specializes on integrating quality into all aspects of these projects ensuring that relevant procedures, training and implementation are adhered to within the plan-do-check-act methodology. Catherine has worked for DPS for over 14 years and her management, software skills and attention to detail has ensured that she provides a key role in the group. She has overall responsibility of the Quality Management System working with stakeholders across the globe to oversee the implementation of the QMS. She is an IRCA qualified lead auditor, brand auditor, SME of DPS’s collaboration software, change manager for their intranet and is leading the upgrade to the latest revision of the ISO 9001:2015 standard across all DPS operations.
