Harald is the General Manager for Festo AM Kft Hungary production plant since beginning of 2011, subsidiary of the renowned German Automation company Festo AG&Co.KG. After his study of mechanical engineering and economics he started his career at Mercedes Benz Stuttgart as a production engineer in several operational rules.
Afterwards he joined Festo for a international project to build up a worldwide production and logistic network. In that time he lead several international projects in South America, Asia and East Europe. Later on he took over the responsibility for all the technical areas of Festo in Hungary included a decentral R&D function.
A mechanical and economically by background, Harald has worked in industrial production of full and low scale volumes for more than 25 years and has held several senior engineering and management positions. He has experiences transforming Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chains and Organizations. Since several years he keep himself busy with lean practices and an evidenz-based system of leadership and collaboration.
